Installation Guidelines of new PKI Component for (n)Code, TCS and SafeScript Certificates for e-Filing of Patent application
Step-1
>> Open (Internet Explorer) -> Click on Tools Menu -> Click on Internet Options
>> Click on Setting button -> Click on View Objects) button -> in this window, please find one “NDEMO.NGDEMO” component installed on your computer
>> If NDEMO.NGDEMO exists, Remove it
>> Press OK button
Step-2
>> Open the Internet Explorer as Administrator and click on Tools->Internet Options->Security tab ->Select Internet Zone-> Click on Custom level Button
>> In the “Security Settings” window, please tick enabled in the following options:
  • Download signed ActiveX controls -> Set as Enable
  • Download unsigned ActiveX controls -> Set as Enable
  • Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe -> Set as Enable
  • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins-> Set as Enable
  • Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting -> Set as Enable
  • Display mixed content -> Set as Enable
  • Press OK button and close all the windows and also Internet
>> In the" Advanced"  Tab scroll down to security, please tick the options "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid"
Step-3
>> Download the PKI Component zip file to your computer and extract it, Open the NDEMO.htm with Internet Explorer, Allow any blocked content in the yellow strip if appearing.
>> Insure the present of PKI Component in the Internet Explorer [ Click on Tools Menu -> Click on Internet Options, Click on Setting button -> Click on View Objects) button -> in this window, please find one “NDEMO.NGDEMO” component installed on your computer]
Step-4
>> New Users holding (n)Code, TCS, SafeScript or e-Mudhra  Class-3 Digital Certificates for Code Signing may please register on e-Filing portal of Indian Patent Office(IPO)
Kindly Note :-
(i) Users who are already registerd with previous version will required to register seperately with the same Digital Signature to access Comprehensive Patent e-Filing.
(ii) PKI Component for Comprehensive Patent e-Filing will remain the same and need not to be installed again if already present.
(iii) It should be clearly noted that Digital Signature required for signing the applications  must be the same with which registration has been done on eFiling portal.
